Dara Tolchin

Student Division External Relations Chair

Dara Tolchin am a third-year medical student at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She received her Master of Science degree from Drexel University, and my Bachelor of Science in Physiology from San Francisco State University. Since attending medical school, Dara have been served as the cultural competency chair for a student run organization and have continued to advocate for cultural awareness within medicine. During their undergraduate studies she was president of an organization that focused on women empowerment and devoted efforts to giving back to women and children of San Francisco by working with organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of America, and the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer benefit walk; Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. In her spare time, she enjoy being outside in nature, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
