Christina (Christi) Brown is a fourth-year medical student at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Aurora University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Business Administration, Psychology, and Physiology. During her undergraduate career, she founded the Aurora University Science Organization, which made her realize how underrepresented women are in science and medicine. She also worked as a Patient Care Technician at Delnor Hospital, where she floated to various units, sparking her passion for hospital medicine. She previously served as the co-president of the Rush AMWA chapter, where she has proudly organized events on self-defense, gun violence prevention, and negotiation skills. In addition, she recently became a Medical Student Representative for the AMWA Gun Violence Task Force. In her spare time, she enjoys kickboxing and collecting Wonder Woman novelties. She is looking forward to helping Region 6 further unite in the mission to advance women in medicine!
