Gabriella Reyes

Student Division Region 5 Director

Gabriella is 2nd year medical student at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences on the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Kitts.  In addition to working on her MD, she is also working on a Master’s of Healthcare Administration.  Born and raised in Staten Island, Gaby is a proud New Yorker! She received her Bachelor’s of Biomedical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology; completing her Master’s of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Throughout her life, Gaby has always been passionate about sustainable development and social justice. She has worked extensively with organizations such as Engineers Without Borders, Millennium Campus Network, and Hispanics Inspiring Students’ Performance and Achievement (HISPA) on various projects working towards the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) set by the United Nations. Some of the goals include promoting gender equality and empowering women, and ensuring environmental sustainability. As a medical student and future physician, Gaby plans to continue working towards completion of the MDGs, inspiring others to join her on the journey!
