Anagha Nagaraj

Student Division External Relations Chair

Anagha Nagaraj is currently a third-year medical student at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She graduated from Barnard College in 2015 with a B.A. in Neuroscience & Behavior and subsequently participated in chemistry research for two years before starting medical school. In medical school, Anagha served as UConn AMWA’s Recruitment Chair as an MS2 and is currently serving as Region 1 Director having just recently held the annual regional conference in December 2019. At UConn School of Medicine, she also serves as one of the South Park Women’s Clinic Co-Directors who organize free monthly women’s clinics at a local homeless shelter in Hartford, CT. As External Relations Chair, she looks forward to expanding AMWA’s partnerships with community-based education and advocacy organizations so that AMWA students and professionals around the country have the opportunity to further explore their passions. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to podcasts, traveling, cooking/baking, and spending time with friends.
