Analise Peleggi
Student Division Region 2 Director
Analise Peleggi is a member of the Albany Medical College Class of 2017, pursuing her MD with an interest in pediatric care and quality improvement research. She is proud to serve as the Regional Director for medical students in New York and New Jersey and is excited for the opportunity to empower progress and collaboration within such an active, energized region.
Prior to entering medical school, Analise was a clinical research coordinator at Boston Children’s Hospital. There, she managed the institution’s participation in a national collaborative aimed at improving health care outcomes and the quality of care delivered to pediatric patients with inflammatory bowel disease. This experience sparked Analise’s ongoing interest in overcoming barriers to medical care, particularly for patients suffering from chronic disease.
Analise graduated from Cornell University in 2011, majoring in biological sciences and concentrating in neurobiology and behavior. While studying at Cornell, Analise was a competing member of the Women’s Varsity Fencing Team and served as team captain during her senior year.
Analise believes in the invaluable contributions women can make to medical science, health care, future leadership, and the well-being of patient populations around the world. She is excited for the opportunity to take action with fellow AMWA members and to champion the success and impact of women in medicine.
