Noreen Fraser
Television producer Noreen Fraser is living with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. Dynamic, passionate and highly motivating, Noreen is the embodiment of the mission statement of the Foundation which bears her name: “Dedicated to saving lives through funding ground-breaking women’s cancer research.”
Noreen was co-founder and co-producer of the 2008 history-making telecast, “Stand Up To Cancer,” an unprecedented collaboration which united all three television networks in a simultaneous, one hour, commercial-free, prime time special which raised over $100 million for cancer research.
Through the Noreen Fraser Foundation, she continues to make a significant impact on improving women’s health on community, national and international levels. A creative visionary, Noreen has increased public education and awareness through her ability to inspire and mobilize Hollywood’s most talented and entertaining performers in a multitude of media projects and events. The Foundation’s signature charity gala, Variety’s “Power of Comedy” show, celebrated its fourth annual fete (honoring Jimmy Kimmel) in November.
A popular television guest and motivational speaker, Noreen has a large and loyal following to her weekly Fox News blog “Staring Down Cancer,” and has addressed audiences ranging from the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, to Johns Hopkins University, to the keynote address at the Global Breast Cancer Conference in Seoul, Korea. Noreen Fraser’s lifework illustrates a clear affirmative to the question: “Can one person actually make a difference?”
