Kerri Vincenti, MD
Kerri Vincenti, M.D. is the Chief Radiology Resident at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a soon-to-be Breast Imaging Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she completed the Medical Education Leadership Track. During medical school, she was an active member of AMWA and took advantage of several opportunities to network with women in the field of medicine throughout training.
Having seen the impact that great mentorship and sponsorship had on her own professional growth, she set out to give back to other women in the field throughout residency. Kerri became actively involved at the University of Pennsylvania as the co-chair of FOCUS, a dean-funded program created to improve the recruitment, retention, advancement and leadership of women, and to promote education and research in women’s health and leadership. She also worked to create an inaugural residents/fellows session at the American College of Radiology’s Leadership Institute annual retreat alongside three other female residents from around the country. She is currently serving as a representative on the Member-In-Training Committee of the American Association of Women Radiologists (AAWR). Her desire to support her female colleagues and to recruit more women to the field of radiology have grown with each passing year of training. Kerri is excited to join the AMWA leadership as the mentorship coordinator and hopes to enhance opportunities for women in both well established and underrepresented specialties. She is eager to create new connections and help build lasting relationships for AMWA members, both young and old.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and 2 daughters.
