Anna is a senior resident in obstetrics and gynecology at Georgetown University. She completed B.A. degrees in anthropology and biology with honors at the University of Chicago. She then stayed in Chicago for medical school at the University of Illinois-Chicago where her passion for public health really blossomed. Her interest in policy motivated her move to Washington DC. Throughout medical school and residency, Anna had the privilege of being involved with AMWA in various roles and is excited to be President of the residency division. Anna has also worked extensively with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist to promote access to women’s healthcare. She hopes to pursue a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology after residency and acquire an MPH degree in her future career.
