Anna Zelivianskaia, MD
Anna is a rising third year OB/GYN resident at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center. She received dual BA degrees in Anthropology and Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago and then graduated medical school from the University of Illinois-Chicago. After living in the Chicago area for 13 years, moved to Washington DC.
Anna was an AMWA member as a medical student, and became involved in leadership as a resident. During the 2016-2017 academic year, she was the Resident Division Mentorship Chair. She wrote a Mentorship Corner column for the newsletter and helped facilitate networking opportunities within AMWA. Last year, she served as the Resident Division Treasurer and this year she will be the President-elect. Anna aspires to advocate for women’s issues throughout her career and is thrilled to be part of a specialty and an organization that helps integrate these goals into her daily life! Her favorite activities outside the hospital include travel, rock climbing, and running.
