Pre-Med Election Information

AMWA’s premed student division grows and advances only through the efforts of dedicated student leaders like you! Each national leadership position varies greatly with respect to responsibility and time commitment, however, each requires a passion for advancing women in medicine, as well as excitement for and dedication to AMWA.

We are now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 National Premed Leadership positions (here)! Applications will remain open until ALL positions are filled!

Please note that this year, leadership positions will be filled through elections. We will be conducting elections via an online ballot in order to allow the opportunity for all of our members to participate in voting. Polls will open in February.

All applicants for all positions must attend the Annual Meeting in March 2017 at which the results will be announced. Also feel free to contact us or the person who currently holds the position in which you are interested here. For questions on application, election, and appointment process, please feel encouraged to contact our President-Elect, Laura Ballentine. AMWA is your organization and we invite you to shape its future!
