Pre-Medical Student Division

Pre-Med Election Information

AMWA’s premed student division grows and advances only through the efforts of dedicated student leaders like you! Each national leadership position varies greatly with respect to responsibility and time commitment, however, each requires a passion for advancing women in medicine, as well as excitement for and dedication to AMWA.

We are now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 National Premed Leadership positions (here)! Applications are now OPEN! Applications close February 1, 2019 at 11:59pm EST. After you submit your application, please send your resume or CV to the President, the President-Elect, and the Vice-President of Recruitment as a PDF titled with your name and your late date of edit. You can find their emails on the Premed Division Leadership page.

Please note that leadership positions will be filled through elections. We will be conducting elections via an online ballot in order to allow the opportunity for all of our members to participate in voting. Polls will open in February.

All applicants for all positions must attend the Interim Meeting in Washington DC in March 2019. Feel free to contact us or the person who currently holds the position in which you are interested here with any questions regarding the positions. For questions on the application, election, and appointment process, please feel encouraged to contact our President-Elect, Lara Rostomian. AMWA is your organization and we invite you to shape its future!
