Premedical Division Region 9 Director
Camellia Djebroun is a third year student at University of California, Berkeley and is majoring in Integrative Biology with an emphasis on Human Biology. She is an active member of the C.O.P.E committee and the 2020 Conference Committee. As program director of the Berkeley branch, she hopes to foster an environment of support to empower members to be advocates in their communities. She is passionate about gender and racial equality in access to healthcare and public health education. Outside of AMWA she is a finance intern for the Middle Eastern North African retention and recruitment center at U.C Berkeley. As a proud member of her Algerian community, she serves as Treasurer of a non-profit cultural organization, the Algerian-American Association of Northern California. She is grateful to have found a community of women who share her passion and hopes to give back by serving with national AMWA.
