Premedical Division Region 8 Director
Krupa George is an undergraduate student at Baylor University, majoring in University Scholars with concentrations in Medical Humanities, Chemistry, and Public Health. She has volunteered as a research assistant at the Waco Veterans Affairs doing TBI and neuroimaging research, which piqued her interest in the brain. This, combined with her love of Medical Humanities, led to her thesis on Prayer and Mental Health. In addition to this, she has been involved with the AMWA Baylor Chapter since her freshman year, serving as Secretary and current President while working to create unique initiatives such as providing feminine hygiene products for local homeless women. Gender equality is very close to her heart, and she identifies deeply with AMWA’s message of empowerment in medicine. After graduation, she hopes to pursue medical school and become a physician who makes medicine more inclusive for women. In her free time, she enjoys calligraphy, photography, and sushi.
