Premedical Division Awards Chair

Kendyl Naugle is a senior undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley majoring in Integrative Biology and minoring in Early Childhood Development and Education. Soon after joining her local AMWA branch, she realized the power that the organization harnessed and the sheer amount of both ambition and desire that emanated from its members that allowed AMWA to accomplish amazing things. As Berkeley’s Mental Health Committee Head, she has helped initiate the Mental Health Vitamins Vlog Series, a video campaign that addresses the aspects of health that society commonly deems to be taboo. As AMWA’s National Global Health Chair, she has created partnerships between AMWA and organizations both domestic and international. In addition to AMWA, Kendyl is a research assistant in the Berkeley Psychophysiology Lab studying the effects of dementia on interpersonal relationships and the expression of emotion. Kendyl also enjoys teaching a student-led class on campus known as The Health Coaching Decal and coaching children’s gymnastics classes at Golden Bear Gymnastics.
