Kendyl Naugle

Premedical Division Awards Chair

Kendyl Naugle is an alumna of the University of California, Berkeley, after majoring in Integrative Biology and minoring in Early Childhood Development & Education and Global Public Health. Soon after joining her local AMWA branch, she realized the power that the organization harnessed and the sheer amount of both ambition and desire that emanated from its members that allowed AMWA to accomplish amazing things. As Berkeley’s Mental Health Committee Head, she has helped initiate the Mental Health Vitamins Vlog Series, a video campaign that addresses the aspects of health that society commonly deems to be taboo. As AMWA’s National Global Health Chair, she has created partnerships between AMWA and organizations both domestic and international. And as AMWA’s National Awards Chair, she has developed new scholarships for members by writing grants and collaborating with nonprofit organizations. In addition to AMWA, Kendyl is a research assistant in the Berkeley Psychophysiology Lab studying the effects of dementia on interpersonal relationships and the expression of emotion. Kendyl also enjoys working as an ophthalmic technician and as a medical assistant at a holistic pediatric clinic in Oakland, CA.
