Premed Travel Grants to 102nd AMWA Conference
AMWA recognizes the additional financial assistance our members need when planning to attend our meeting. $100 travel grants will be given. Applications for travel grants will be accepted until December 22, 2016 at 11:59PM EST and can be accessed through this submission form.
Please note: AMWA pre-medical students share the same travel grant application as the medical student division for the 2017 conference. Be sure to click “premed” under the division tab, located on the application.
AMWA student members are eligible to apply for support in traveling to the Annual AMWA Meeting. Special consideration will be given to students running for national leadership positions, volunteering, or traveling from more distant locations.
Regardless of whether you applied for or received a travel grant for the 102nd annual meeting, you can sign up here to volunteer to help out during the Annual Meeting. Please email us with any questions and explore the conference page for more information about the conference agenda!

AMWA understands that your journey in medicine begins before medical school, and that this journey can be expensive. Supporting your career path and ensuring your success is important to us which is why we are offering 2 (two) $250 scholarships to women currently enrolled in undergraduate or post-baccalaureate pre-medical coursework who intend to pursue medical school. Awardees will be chosen based on the embodiment of the goals of AMWA. Financial need, though not a requirement, is also considered.
