Ariela L. Marshall , MD, is associate professor of medicine in hematology and assistant professor of laboratory medicine and pathology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.  She specializes in disorders of thrombosis and hemostasis in women.  Dr. Marshall is a medical educator with a focus on career development, leadership, and mentorship and serves as the associate program director of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Marshall has a particular interest in gender equity and diversity and inclusion in medicine and leads several research projects and advocacy initiatives to advance career development opportunities for women.

 Dr. Marshall was magna cum laude graduate of where she also completed her medical training. She completed a residency in internal medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in hematology/oncology from the Dana Farber/Harvard Cancer Canter in Boston, Massachusetts. She also completed the Clinical Effectiveness Program from Harvard.  n in medicine and science.  She is leading research and policy development in parental health and gender equity in educational leadership.
