Alan Penzias, MD, is a Reproductive Endocrinologist at Boston IVF, Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Fellowship program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
A past president of the New England Fertility Society, Dr. Penzias served as a member of the executive council for SART and currently serves as Chair of the ASRM Practice Committee and is a member of the ASRM COVID-19 Task Force. He is a former associate editor and current member of the Editorial Board of Fertility and Sterility, F&S Reports, and Emeritus Editorial Board of Reproductive Biomedicine Online.
Dr. Penzias graduated with a BA from the University of Pennsylvania; M.D. from the State University of New York – Downstate Medical Center; completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Yale University School of Medicine.
