    Mollie Gordon, MD

    Southern CoChair 2020 – 2021

    Dr. Mollie Gordon is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the Menninger Department of Behavioral Health at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) She is very involved in resident and medical student education as the Associate Director for the inpatient acute mental health unit at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, Texas. She serves on the undergraduate medical education committee for BCM and is on the Psychiatry Leadership Committee at Harris Health Systems.

    Her more recent research in the field of Human Trafficking and Mental Illness has resulted in numerous publications in the field, the establishment of the first Fellowship in the mental health treatment of human trafficking patients in an academic medical center, and she is a founding member of the Texas Medical Center Human Trafficking Health Care Consortium. She is the co-chair of AMWA PATH and passionate about the interface of human trafficking and mental health.
