From women’s health to sex and gender specific health, AMWA is changing the culture of medicine.
As a leading advocate for women’s health, AMWA has developed programs focused on menopause, migraine management, HPV / Cervical Cancer, fertility, obesity, menopause, contraception, and reproductive healthcare.

PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUES
AMWA helps address timely public health issues like gun violence, human trafficking, obesity, opioid addiction, alcohol use, climate change, and caregiving. We’re working to address social determinants of health to improve patient care.
SEX AND GENDER SPECIFIC HEALTH
AMWA is a leading advocate for the teaching and practice of sex and gender specific healthcare through the Sex and Gender Health Collaborative. We have co-lead a series of summits and partnered with iGIANT® to raise awareness across sectors.
