Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and other causes of dementia are projected to impact 14 million individual by 2060. There is a clear deficit in AD identification and prevention at the healthcare provider level, with many patients going unnoticed until more advanced disease progression. Given these deficits in the clinical environment, the American Medical Women’s Association is distributing a survey to understand dementia training at the medical student level. This will allow us to advocate for and design solutions to address the gap in care for these patients. Our survey will also examine the impact of the caregiver role has on medical students.
If you feel comfortable, we ask that you please respond to the one-time online anonymous survey.
