From the MWIA Executive Committee:
It is with regret that we announce the resignation of Dr Clarissa Fabre as President of the Medical Women’s International Association (MWIA).
The Executive on behalf of members thank Dr Fabre for service to MWIA and wish her all the best for the future.
In accordance with the MWIA Statutes and Bylaws, Dr Eleanor Nwadinobi, President-elect has become MWIA President. This was unanimously endorsed at a special meeting of the Executive on 1st December 2019 pursuant to our Statutes and By-Laws.
Our new President and the Executive Committee continue to be dedicated to the MWIA mission and to our members. The Executive Committee, now led by Dr Eleanor Nwadinobi as President, continues the work to ensure that MWIA is an organisation fit for the next century and one which is relevant in a changing world. We will continue to build on our many achievements of our first 100 years whilst at the same time expanding MWIA’s influence and service.
