Dr. Chemen Tate Appointed to Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky Board of Directors

(Indianapolis) – Dr. Chemen Tate has joined the Board of Directors for Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky (PPINK).  Dr. Chemen Tate is currently an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and has a full-time clinical practice at the IU Health Coleman Center for Women. A graduate of San Diego State University and the University of  Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Dr. Tate is a dean’s fellow through the IUSM office of faculty affairs. As a fellow, she will focus on programs for the advancement of women and diversity affairs. She co-chairs the IUSM Diversity Council and is a member of the Women’s Advisory Council. At the national level, Dr. Tate serves on the board of directors for the American Medical Women’s Association and is the physician chair for its mentorship committee.
