CVS / Caremark Will Stop Selling Tobacco Products

Our collaborator, the National Physicians Alliance (NPA) is part of a national coalition to end smoking-related death and disease and invites AMWA to join in this effort.

“In a bold, historic move, CVS/Caremark announced that they will stop selling tobacco products in their stores by October 2014. Our nation’s largest drugstore chain is setting an example for pharmacies across the country. CVS will also roll out a program this spring to help people quit smoking.”
