Battle on Buffalo Run held July 22 as a Benefit for the Linda Brodsky Memorial Fund

Start of the race.

The inaugural Battle on Buffalo 5K event took place July 22, 2017 in Delaware Park! It was a hot, muggy day in Buffalo, but runners and walkers braved the heat to show their support for gender equity in medicine.

We raised over $500 the day of the event and the tally for our overall fundraising continues to grow! We are still receiving sponsorship money from local businesses in the Buffalo area.

The final stage of this fundraising effort is the sale of T-shirts that display the Battle on Buffalo logo!  We encourage all AMWA members to join the Battle and support our cause by purchasing a T-shirt or sweatshirt through the Custom Ink Fundraising site. Just visit the Custom Ink website and search for “Battle on Buffalo.”  The shirt will be shipped directly to your home and you will be supporting our cause!

Proceeds will be divided equally between AMWA and the Linda Brodsky Memorial Fund to continue the battle for gender equity!

See our flier for more information about the T-shirts!
