Film can be a powerful tool for education and advocacy. AMWA’s recently launched initiative, Media AMWA is a testament to the impact that film can have on medicine and health, both in raising awareness within the general public as well as the healthcare community. Yet filmmaking is not limited to professionals or those with high end equipment. With the availability of many on-line platforms, anyone can make films, using their own videos or stock footage. Visit Media AMWA to learn how to make films with just your smartphone and a few other tools. Or use sites like promo.com to add messaging to your personal videos or stock footage.
AMWA’s Director of Research and Development, Michelle Benedict, recently created two inspirational films for AMWA.
Learn how to make these short films and more in a special webinar with Ms. Benedict where she will share her insights and experience. Come away with tools to make an inspirational film that will move your audience, whether that is to share family memories, promote your practice, or advance a health care initiative.
