AMWA Networks at the American Academy of Pediatrics National Meeting
AMWA leaders met with hundreds of women physicians, residents, and medical students from all over the world at the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) meeting this past weekend in San Francisco. The exhibit booth featured information about AMWA’s work to prevent human trafficking, partnership with SafetyNest on environmental toxins, and new pediatric obesity task force with a book signing by Dr. Louise Greenspan, AMWA member and author of The New Puberty. Thanks to AMWA leaders Dr. Karen Poirier-Brode, Dr. Laurel Waters, Dr. Louise Greenspan, Dr. Joan Lo, Anandita Mathur, Apoorva Dharmadhikari, Nitisha Mehta, and Dr. Eliza Chin for their help in a successful exhibit booth.
