Commander Paulette Cazares, MD, MPH from Naval Medical Center San Diego, recently published a book chapter with colleagues in “Career Paths in Telemental Health”. Their chapter, “Internet Gaming Disorder and Internet Addiction Disorder: Future Careers in Research, Education and Treatment”, focuses on emerging information in the area of addictions and gaming, as well as electronics and the internet.
Commander Paulette Cazares, MD, MPH from Naval Medical Center San Diego and liaison to AMWA, was named the Mental Health lead for the Navy’s Women’s Health Community. In this role, she is piloting the Department of Defense’s 1st Women’s Mental Health initiative, focusing on clinical care, research and education.
