WOMEN IN MEDICINE: LEADERS IN MEDICAL EDUCATION AND PRACTICE

Colleagues,

I would like to personally invite you to attend the first-ever American Medical Association Women in Medicine Symposium! Hosted by the AMA Women Physicians Section (WPS), this symposium will look to the future and to tackling priority issues that women physicians face in medicine today.

This event, held in conjunction with the AMA Women in Medicine Month, will feature a networking reception, tour of the AMA’s headquarters, and dynamic presentations and breakout sessions covering:

  • Physician resiliency and burnout (1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™)
  • Overcoming obstacles in daily practice (1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™)
  • Personal wellness break (includes yoga demonstration and chair massages).

Please plan to join us 12:30–5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22, at the AMA’s headquarters (330 N. Wabash Ave., Chicago). Registration fee is $25 for AMA members and $95 for nonmembers.
