ACA Outreach & Enrollment in Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Communities: Explaining Health Insurance

More than 8 million Americans signed up for health insurance through the Marketplace in the first open enrollment period. In addition, over 4.8 million more are covered by states through Medicaid and CHIP programs. Of the millions who signed up for coverage, 7.9% are Asian Americans (AA) and 0.1% are Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders (NHPI). This webinar will provide guidance to non-ACA certified staff in community based organizations that serve AA and NHPI communities on how to explain health insurance and accessing health care to their clients.
