Military and Veterans Subcommittee
The American Medical Women’s Association advocates to bring under-addressed issues to the forefront of the national agenda.
Mission Statement
To provide the cultural connect for those who have served as well as those who provide healthcare to those who serve, through peer support, mentoring, community events, team building, and other methods of engagement. The Diversity and Inclusion commitment to inclusiveness invites all AMWA members and those who support them to participate in programs and opportunities to learn how military service informs clinical practice and research.
