Webinar: AMWA Physician Advocacy 101

Physicians for Reproductive Health, a national doctor-led advocacy organization that promotes medically sound reproductive health policy, gives health care providers the tools they need to advocate for their patients. Lauren Boc, Physicians’ State Public Policy Associate, will lead an advocacy webinar for pre-medical students exploring different avenues participants can take, now and throughout their career, to engage in advocacy from their unique perspective as future health care providers. Specific topics include a description of the legislative process, how to work effectively with policymakers, and engaging with the media.
