Sumita B. Khatri, MD MS is a pulmonary/critical care physician and associate professor of medicine at CWRU/CCLCM School of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic. Her clinical focus is asthma, research focus is in airway inflammation, air pollution and health, and her avocation is advocacy for patients, public health, and women ready to lead in healthcare. She has founded and directs the FLEX Leadership Program for women faculty at the School of Medicine.
This webinar will cover:
Leading in a collaborative manner by gathering as many perspectives as possible and being inclusive in our decision making process, particularly during the significant changes in healthcare, is essential. We will review scenarios in which these skills are needed and also find the balance between gathering perspectives and being decisive and taking risks. All above are necessary to lead effectively and also demonstrate steadiness and confidence in leadership style that may be helpful to audience participants in various venues where they lead.
