Twitter Fireside Chat: Gender Equal Pandemics

Women in Global Health and the American Medical Women’s Association are holding a 45-minute Twitter Chat dedicated to the topic of “Gender Equal Pandemics”, in the form of a fireside chat between four speakers and a moderator, hosted on WGH’s Twitter account on 20th September at 10am EST / 4pm CET. This chat will address some of the most pressing issues related to gender equity in pandemic preparedness and response. The discussion will focus on gender equal leadership, as well as safe and decent working conditions of health workers during pandemics, as crucial to building strong and resilient health systems for pandemic prevention, preparedness, response and recovery.
