AMWA + PJE Present- Being a Better Ally – A Call to Action
February 8 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST
Have you ever thought, “I care about creating a more inclusive healthcare workplace, but what can I do?” If so, you’re not alone. Knowing how to be a better ally for underrepresented colleagues is unfamiliar territory for many of us.
In this webinar with Pringl Miller MD, Kali Cyrus MD MPH, and Karen Catlin (author of Belonging in Healthcare: The Better Allies Approach to Creating More Inclusive Workplaces), it will be a “no holds barred” conversation about the challenges people from underrepresented groups face in healthcare workplaces and how to take action as an ally.

After spending 25 years building software products and serving as a vice president of engineering at Macromedia and Adobe, Karen Catlin witnessed a sharp decline in the number of women working in tech.
