Advocacy Day

Join AMWA members and leaders for Advocacy Day on the Hill, Thursday, March 13, 2014 beginning at 7am on Capitol Hill. A mandatory pre-training session will be held by teleconference. Those who cannot make that can attend an in-person training the evening of Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Location TBA. Advocacy issues will be gender equity and human sex trafficking. This event will be joint sponsored by the Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR).
We are looking for 10 people to lead a small group of AMWA members to their legislative offices for Advocacy Day. If you’ve joined us for advocacy day in the past, or have spent time advocating in Washington, DC and are willing to help, please contact Dr Roberta Gebhard at: docgebhard@gmail.com.
