4th Annual ARFTC Fundraising Gala: Arabian Nights

AMWA Past-President Speaks at Children’s Cancer Event!

On October 20th, A Road for the Cure Foundation will be hosting its Fourth Annual Fundraising Gala: Arabian Nights at the Ft. Lauderdale Marriott Coral Springs. The event will be a night to remember with a silent auction, a live auction, dinner, and live entertainment. There will be various speakers, including Former President of the American Women’s Medical Association, Dr. Farzanna Haffizulla. Each of us invite you all to attend in efforts to promote the renovation of the Pediatric Oncology Unit. Your contribution will help nurture a loving and lively atmosphere for patients and their respective families during their hospital stays.

Each year, around 175,000 children are diagnosed with cancer worldwide. Not only do these newly diagnosed patients endure months of cancer treatment cycles, but they also suffer lifelong emotional pain.

Through previous fundraising efforts, our foundation was able to construct a fun, welcoming, and colorful playroom for the pediatric oncology unit at Broward Health. Our foundation continuously tries to improve the conditions of the unit to create an ideal model of treatment that the kids rightfully deserve. At the A Road for the Cure Foundation, we believe that happiness paves the way to health. Our mission is to help kids be kids by working to give them the childhood experiences they have been deprived of. Our team makes breakthroughs in the quality of life during the hospital stays of children affected by cancer and achieves lasting impact by giving them a sense of safety, hope, strength, and happiness.
