Integrating Sex & Gender into Curricula for the Health Professions

World Health Organization (WHO) Meeting report (2006)

Educational content and case studies were contributed by medical schools and institutions in Canada, Australia,  Thailand, Turkey, Uganda as well as the US. Initiatives for integrating sex & gender into the curricula of health professionals were mainly focused on undergraduate medical education and to a much smaller extent, public health training. The very few initiatives in developing countries are still in the early stages of development.
