Ora Pescovitz, MD

Ora Hirsch Pescovitz, M.D., is the seventh president of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She is a renowned pediatric endocrinologist and researcher who has published more than 190 manuscripts and books. She also serves as professor of biomedical sciences at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. She brings to Oakland University more than 30 years of experience leading change in academic health centers and universities, delivering innovations in bench-to-bedside discovery and facilitating collaborations between academic and community partners. Elected to the National Academy of Medicine, Dr. Pescovitz contributes to positive transformation in American education.
