Linda Prine, MD
Linda Prine is a professor of family medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She is a practicing physician at the Institute for Family Health, a large FQHC network where she is also the Director of Women’s Health. She is a co-founder and medical director of the Reproductive Health Access Project. In these capacities, she has been a leader for full-spectrum reproductive health care: the integration of abortion, miscarriage and contraceptive care into family medicine teaching and service. She maintains an active practice in which she provides and teaches to her fellows and residents this full scope of care, including medication and manual vacuum aspiration abortion. She advocates for single payer health care, which must include coverage for abortion services.
