The American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) will be holding the AMWA Interim Meeting at Kansas University Medical Center (KUMC), Sept. 16-17, 2017. This meeting will bring local women in medicine together with AMWA’s leadership team in celebration of women in medicine month. A special event will be held at the National WWI Museum and Memorial to honor the Centennial of the American Women’s Hospitals Service (AWHS) and recognize the important role of women physicians during the war.
