Rachel is a member of the class of 2014 at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She spent her first year involved with AMWA as Vice President to the IU School of Medicine branch, and has continued her involvement this past year as Co-President of this branch in Indianapolis Indiana. She cultivates a passion for global outreach through involvement in global health groups on campus, and multiple medical trips to Cameroon Africa and Haiti over the last few years. She is excited to spend time in El Doret Kenya this coming year. She has an interest in molecular biology and loves to embrace her inner nerd through research at her school. Outside of work she is a huge music lover and enjoys going to concerts with friends whenever she can, especially if it takes a roadtrip to get there!??Rachel enjoys reaching out to people and bringing people together through networking events and mentoring opportunities. One of the best ways to do this is through the AMWA National Conference each year! Rachel is excited to help plan the National Conference this year in her role as a National Conference Chair. She truly believes in the value of AMWA and plans to do her part to continue to push the organization forward.
