Preethi Raghu is a medical student part of the Albany Medical College Class of 2014. In medical school, she has done some exciting dermatopathology research, and has a strong interest in pursuing ethnic skin care.

Preethi has been involved with AMWA for the last two years at the local and regional levels. The encouragement, networking, and empowerment provided by AMWA women have fueled her motivation for success in medical school.

As National Program Chair, she plans to implement framework for a mentorship program, promote existing AMWA benefits, and act as a liaison for physician task forces as needed. She encourages any members with ideas for furthering national AMWA to contact her via email.
