In May 2010, she graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. Honors in Biology and a minor in French Cultural Studies. She is a Harry S. Truman Scholar, USA TODAY College Academic First-Team winner, Intel Science Talent Search Finalist, and a former intern for the U.S. Surgeon General.

Neha currently serves as Co-President for Harvard's AMWA chapter and has coordinated a variety of events dedicated towards peer mentorship, career guidance, fundraising, and awareness about women's health issues. She is also the President of Harvard's PHACE program, a comprehensive sexual health education program for high-risk teens in Boston city public schools.

She is excited to serve as the AMWA National Student Treasurer and hopes to work towards maximizing funds for student programs and events. Neha hopes to work towards a career in maternal-fetal health and continue to promote her interests in women's health and career advocacy.
