AZ, CO, ID, MT, NM, NV, TX, UT, WY
Lisa Wadowski is a medical student at the University of Arizona COM-Phoenix, Class of 2016. She graduated from Arizona State University in 2010 with a BS in Psychology. Before medical school, she was an Office Manager in a private practice medical office and was involved in a number of volunteer activities ranging from an overflow of shelter volunteer to working with the Salvation Army in an after-school program designed to teach underprivileged children in Phoenix new ways of learning.
Currently, Lisa is a part of the Commitment to Underserved Program (CUP), which serves to provide the underserved community with access to medical care through a health clinic and community educational programs.
Lisa has been inspired by other AMWA students and physician leaders. She is excited to be a part of AMWA and looks forward to helping expand the student division while also networking with new schools. She also hopes to inspire and motivate other women across the country to organize important events and increase women recognition in medicine.
