Kathy is from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  After graduating from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Kathy worked in investment banking with the fourth largest bank in North America.  After much thought and careful consideration, Kathy made the career switch into medicine.  She completed her medical school prerequisites at Bryn Mawr College in the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program and is currently a third-year medical student at Boston University School of Medicine.  When not studying, Kathy enjoys fine dining, wine, yoga, and spending time with her friends and family.  Kathy is a big believer in AMWA's mission and is excited to be Region 1 Coordinator.
