Kathryn Winn
Recruitment Chair
Kathryn Winn is a member of the Class of 2013 at Florida State University College of Medicine. For her first two years of medical school, she served as assistant treasurer and treasurer for her student branch of AMWA at FSU, where she helped to organize programs including a Clothesline to raise awareness of Domestic Violence, a panel of Breast Cancer survivors, and a variety of monthly meetings cosponsored with other groups at FSU COM. Most recently, during her third year of medical school, she has served as National AMWA's Recruitment Chair and provided assistance to up and coming branches, distributed recruitment information to all branches, and mailed recruitment incentives to new national members. She hopes to help make recruitment and new branch formation as simple as possible. As an undergraduate, Kathryn graduated from the University of Florida with a major in Psychology and a minor in Chemistry. She strongly believes that AMWA is crucial to advocating the rights of women physicians, as well as meeting the healthcare needs of women across the world.
