Kathryn Spectorsky is member of the class of 2014 at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where she is a Medical Student Scholar in Pediatrics. Kathryn spent the summer of 2011 living abroad in Western Kenya, where she conducted a research project with SOTENI International, assessing the needs and potential growth of an NGO health clinic. She first developed her passion for International Health at Laurel School in Shaker Heights, Ohio. She followed this passion to Georgetown University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in the Biology of Global Health. (Go Hoyas!) When not studying for exams, Kathryn also enjoys playing post collegiate lacrosse with the Cincinnati Queens Women's Lacrosse Team.

Kathryn loves being a member of AMWA because it gives her a place to learn from and interact with a diverse group of female physicians and medical students and can't wait to serve as the Region 6 Coordinator!
