Emily Suh is a member of the Class of 2015 at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. At Einstein she serves as AMWA Chapter President. In addition, she sits on the ECHO Free Clinic board as Women's Health Coordinator. Coming into medical school she received the Einstein Service and Research Scholar Award.

Emily feels that it is vital for our generation to work together to face inequality in the field of medicine head on. As AMWA Conference Chair, Emily will ensure that student members have the opportunity to connect with each other as peer mentors. Her top priority is to bring together chapter leadership throughout the country in order to facilitate support and collaboration towards this common goal.

Prior to medical school Emily worked as a Research Associate at BuzzBack LLC., a market research firm in midtown Manhattan. There she worked with several corporate and pharmaceutical clients throughout the research process. With support from the firm, she completed a Certificate of Market Research through the University of Georgia. While working, between 2008 and 2010, Emily completed a Pre-medical Post-Baccalaureate Certificate at CUNY Hunter. In addition, she completed a clinical research internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Department of Surgery and a clinical internship at Weill Cornell Medical Center of NYPH.

Emily graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Albany in 2006. After completing three years of school and studying abroad in Spain she received a Bachelors in Science in Marketing and Finance. Throughout college she held leadership positions in her sorority, Alpha Xi Delta, including Vice President and Academic Chair.
