Amanda Wingle
Region 2 Director
NJ, NY
Amanda Wingle is a member of the Albany Medical College Class of 2014. As past co-president of the AMC AMWA chapter, she was proud to be a part of the creation of Interpersonal Violence Awareness week at AMC, which educates medical students and other health care professionals about the issues of domestic violence and sexual assault in the patient population. She very much enjoys her involvement with AMWA and loves working to further AMWA's goals of advocating for women's health issues, and providing encouragement and support to women in medicine. She is excited to serve as Region 2 director and looks forward to working with all the NJ and NY AMWA chapters! Ideas and suggestions are always welcome and encouraged.
In addition to her involvement with AMWA, Amanda is a volunteer at a local free clinic and works on RAINN's online hotline.
