Awards Grants & Recognition - Awards - Bertha VanHoosen
The Bertha VanHoosen Award, named in honor of the Founder and first President of AMWA, honors a woman physician who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and service to AMWA, and has been an active member for at least five years.
Required Documentation:
-Submit a personal statement as to why you believe the nominee is worthy of the award.
-Include the nominee's current CV.
-Other supporting papers may be attached with the nomination.
To Submit a Nominee:
Email your nomination and supporting documentation to associatedirector@amwa-doc.org. The deadline has passed for 2010 but you are welcome to submit nominations for 2011.
Awardees must be present at the Awards Presentation Ceremony at AMWA's Annual Meeting in order to be eligible to receive an award.
