Doctors Digest

Doctor's Digest is designed to help the busy practitioner solve complex practice and personal dilemmas through focused, easy-to-implement strategies for success. Six times a year, this digest-sized publication tackles one specific and complex practice management issue.  Experts in the field analyze the problem and then give concrete, practical advice for managing it. Each 84-page issue provides an in-depth reference that practitioners can refer to time and time again.

AMWA and Doctor's Digest are pleased to make available to our members these Doctor's Digest issues via the Doctor's Digest website www.doctorsdigest.net . Receiving a free 2010 e-subscription and accessing the library of back issues is easy and secure.  If you do not have this information sent with your membership welcome letter or renewal, contact AMWA Headquaters to learn how to take advantage of this great member benefit! Users may visit the site an unlimited number of times to review the issues, and are free to print Doctor's Digest pages or purchase hard copies at a reduced rate if they desire.

In addition to all six 2010 issues of Doctor's Digest, members will also be able to download back issues of the journal, including "How to Error-Proof Your Practice," "Small Practice Survival Guide," "Marketing for the Primary Care Physician", "Primary Care and the Medical Home",  "Reducing Practice Risk", "Accurate Billing and Coding", "Your Practice and the Recession" and "Personal and Professional Growth", among many others.

Doctor's Digest also produces a series of concise and informative 5- minute podcasts.  These snappy and lively Podcasts feature cutting- edge practice management advice you can download to your MP3 or other handheld device and are found in the Podcast Library at www.doctorsdigest.net.

You can also view a series of 2-minute practice management video Vodcasts produced by Doctor's Digest in conjunction with www.thedoctorschannel.com , aka the "YouTube of Medicine". Doctor's Digest Vodcasts now appear on this popular doctor-to-doctor website in the Business of Medicine section.
