The American Medical Women's Association annual meeting will take place March 15-17, 2013 at the New York Palace Hotel. The dates overlap with the conclusion of the United Nations meeting of the Commission on the Status of Women.
The largest networking event of the year is AMWA's annual meeting. It is the leading strategic career and personal development conference for women physicians, medical students and residents. Session topics range from mentoring and breaking the glass ceiling to issues in global women's health such as advances in vascular surgery, cardiovascular disease in women, inflammatory skin disorders, arthritis, bleeding disorders and imaging in gynecologic oncology. AMWA invites women in medicine to attend this meeting and learn from pre-eminent women physician leaders of today and tomorrow.
